Meet the herd. Pick a favorite. Make it official.
Adopt an Alpaca
Adopt an alpaca — for yourself or someone else — and get a front-row seat to their very dramatic lives.

How it works

It's easier than actually owning an alpaca. We promise.
1 Pick your alpaca
Browse the herd and choose the one that's stolen your heart (or your hat — looking at you, Milo).
2 Choose a package
Pick the level of involvement that's right for you, from a digital adoption certificate to a private farm tour.
3 Get the updates
Enjoy photos, letters, and farm news about your adopted alpaca all year long — while your support helps cover their feed and care.

Meet the herd

Looking for a unique gift, or a way to feel closer to the herd yourself? Our Alpaca Adoption program is a wonderful way to do both — and to help.

We like to joke that we're terrible livestock farmers, because we treat our animals like pets. While some of our alpacas do move on to wonderful new farms, the ones who stay with us have a home for life. We never cull our herd.

Keeping that promise takes a lot of love — and a lot of feed. As our animals grow older, their fiber stops being usable for our products, but their grocery bill stays exactly the same. Your adoption goes directly toward feed and daily care, helping us bridge that gap. It's a simple way to partner with us in keeping our farm sustainable, while giving our beautiful retirees the life they deserve.

Milo

Meet the farm's friendliest troublemaker

If you’re wearing a hat, consider yourself warned! Milo is our resident professional hat-thief and self-appointed welcoming committee. This friendly fellow has never met a stranger he didn't want to kiss—or a ball cap he didn't want to relocate. He is perpetually "helping," which usually means he’s standing exactly where you need to walk. If you’re looking for a buddy who has no concept of personal space and a heart of gold, Milo is your guy.

Bambi

Those dreamy eyes have a story to tell

Bambi knows he’s handsome, and he isn’t afraid to use it. With the dreamiest eyes in the entire herd, he’s a master at winning staring contests and melting hearts from across the paddock. However, don’t let those soulful eyes fool you—Bambi is the CEO of his own life. Everything happens on his schedule and strictly on his terms. He’s the strong, silent, and incredibly stylish type who knows his worth.

Marshmallow

Tiny, fluffy, and impossible to resist
Living up to his name, Marshmallow is 100% fluff and 0% drama. As the literal "baby" of the group, he’s a bit on the shy side and tiny for his age, but what he lacks in stature, he makes up for in pure cuteness. He’s so fluffy, in fact, that he requires regular hair days just so he can see where he’s going! If you have a little patience and a handful of treats, this sweet boy will eventually decide you’re worthy of a visit.

Joy

Sweet, sassy, and always full of surprises
Joy is a girl of many moods, and keeping you on your toes is her favorite hobby. One moment she’s leaning in deep for a luxurious neck massage, acting like you’re her favorite person on Earth. The next? She might just give you a "salty" look—or a face full of spit—to remind you who’s really in charge. Life with Joy is never boring; she’s a spicy fawn-colored diva who demands respect and a very good sense of timing.

Alpaca Pat

Part alpaca handler, part professional mischief-maker
Every herd has a troublemaker, and ours just happens to walk on two legs. Known for his questionable jokes and a knack for finding mischief, Pat is the heart (and the headache) of the farm. Whether he’s getting a "talking to" from Terri for his latest prank or causing a stir in the barn, he’s always up to something. Adopt Pat if you appreciate a good laugh and don’t mind a bit of chaos—just don't tell Terri it was his idea!

When you adopt an alpaca, you are sponsoring one of our herd members for a year. The alpaca remains here at the farm, where we continue to provide daily care, feed, shelter, and veterinary attention.

Depending on the package selected, adopters may receive:

If your adopted alpaca becomes a parent, we'll be sure to share the exciting news and photos with adopters.
What happens if my adopted alpaca passes away or leaves the farm?
In the unlikely event that your adopted alpaca passes away or is no longer part of our herd, we will transfer your adoption to another alpaca for the remainder of your adoption term.

How does my adoption help the farm?
Your support helps offset the costs of feed, shelter, fencing, veterinary care, and ongoing enrichment for our herd while supporting educational programs and farm experiences.
Can I meet my alpaca virtually?
Yes! We can provide photos, videos, and updates for adopters who live too far away to visit in person.
