Quilt batts can be used for many purposes besides filling that heirloom quilt.  Spinners can use this cleaned and carded fibre for spinning their own yarn.  Felters can dye and felt this fibre using either the wet  felting technique or needle-felting.  Dyes can be used to add colour to an artistic endeavour.
