Tony Martin our MP visited Johnson Farmers’ Market in Desbarats.  Great conversations, great people and great friends!!!  Psst notice Tony’s butter tarts.  It’s one of my weaknesses too.

It gives us great pleasure to introduce a new farm in Québec.  Yes, that’s right, Ste-Cat Alpaca Farm (the name has not been finalized yet) is now open for business.  They are looking at specializing in the fibre products with an artsie twist.  Luc Baillargeon and his wife Gisèle are now the proud owners of three females and two males.  A good friend of Luc’s wanted in on the fun,  Adallard purchased two females.  This makes a herd total of 5 females.  Interesting story, I left Bruce Mines to deliver five females and two males, yet when I got there, I delivered three boys not two.  Yes, a baby was born in the trailer, en route  Ste-Catherine.  Read about this story in the Newsletter.

Luc’s daughters are very interested in the fibre arts.  Annie, Amélie, and Marie Christine are planning great products that will surely be eye openers.  These young ladies are very talented.  Great thing can be expected of them in the alpaca fibre arts.

Nous voulons souhaiter bonne chance à Luc, Gisèle et Adallard ainsi que leur famille dans cette nouvelle aventure.  Je suis certain qu’ils se feront un plaisir de vous montrer leurs nouvelles acquisitions.
